  • Excavator went to Split Rock and removed rocks, ditched, water bars from Intersection 8 to top of Rock Hill.
  • The really bad rocky section on Tim Pass by Elephant Head has had rocks removed and drained with the excavator.
  • Took the Excavator to the new Boneyard Trail for culvert water bars and drainage and continued down to the trail to Flagstaff Fuel to remove rocks and redo for a big improvement on that pole line trail.
  • Re-decked the Billion Pines Bridge and did ditching and water bars and pulled rocks from where the IP road comes in to the trail south of the bridge and from the bridge all the way to Quill Hill.
  • The board walk on the Tea Pond Trail has been removed and the trail now has been moved over to the snowmobile trail for that section. The black mud was removed, fabric placed and 9 loads of rock was placed in one section and the black mud was removed, fabric placed and gravel was placed into another section.  This will keep the trail good for both atv’s and snowmobiles.
  • Jim Brochu will be doing ditching and water bars from Intersection 20 by Quill Hill 3.8 miles to Route 16 by Flag Bridge this year as well.
  • As of this weekend Fred and I are done working on the trails unless there is an emergency repair. Trails will be closing November 1st. A big Thank You to everyone that has helped on the trails!

Our Final Meeting for the year 2019 is Sunday November 10th at the Town Community Hall in Stratton at 10:00 a.m.
