Open meeting at 10:00; 33 members in attendance.

2.) Toby Williamson from the Kibby Wind Project addressed the assemblage
Employees are not intending to work weekends this summer.
Helicopters are airlifting in equipment during mud season.
Currently they are one quarter of the way through project.
The ATV club will still be need to speak with land owners concerning using land under transmission lines for trails.
Possible usage of large bright signs in and around work areas to notify riders.

3.) President's Report
Wilton Sportsmans show went very well and the club voted to do it again next year.
MachMaster speed control devices are available for ATVís and Snowmobiles to any club member; we have been given the opportunity to test their product free of charge.

Red Neck Saturday will be held on August 22, all members are invited. Hosted by the Wolf Valley ATV Club, Carthage Me. (207) 562-4908.
Stratton Recreation Program has requested club members to take fourth and fifth grade students on an outing involving a ride, picnic, and a chance for members to explain the rules of the trail and what the ATV clubs do. Drivers will not be held liable for mishaps, children are insured under extensive government grant given to the program. Rides will most likely take place on a Wednesday or Thursday, more information and dates will be given in due time. Members have to voted to carry out the Rec. Program's request.
Safety Officer needed, anyone interested should contact Don.
Please mark this date on your calender. We will be hosting a Landowners Pig Roast Dinner and fun day, all members are cordially invited.
The dinner will be held on September 12, 2009 at Cathedral Pines Camp Ground. More info. later.
Sale pending on ATV club's digger.
The Jackman club wants to join trails with us. We have to wait for the snowmobile club to gain a permit to build a bridge before this could happen.

Present club membership census stands at 191 members.
For future reference; a company was found in Maine that can print 1,000 club stickers for $504.00.
Thanks for the generous donations and the stamps it is very much appreciated. It inspires us to work harder for you on the trails.

Justin Stuber is offering to do ATV and motorcycle repairs for anyone interested. He is a certified mechanic. He will come to your house or camp and is able to tell you what parts you need and a rough estimate of their cost. You get the parts and he will repair your machine. Treasury is starting off great for this season.

5.) Trail Master Dick Smith - Phone: (207) 246-3201
Tentative trail opening date: May 22, 2009.
Due to weather conditions and the gradual transition into spring, trails have fared well.
We still need permissions from three landowner before trails can be opened.
Kristen Hornbrook of Augusta informed us of a Recreational Motor Sports Bill for Maine, bill no. LD1370 ammended. Bill will go before the Maine legislature on May 22, 2009.
Bill will do away with L.U.R.C.; their responsibility will be put in the hands of the county commissioners.
Penobscot Nation has not yet contacted us on the Carrabassett Trail.
April 3rd I put out "closed mud season" signs.
April 17th excavator was painted.
April 18th The (for sale) backhoe was painted.

6.) Next Meeting takes place Sunday May 17 at 10:00, the third Sunday of the month.
After this meeting all following meetings will be held on the second Sunday of the month unless changed.
