Presidents Report:  Edie Dunlap,  breezy1@tdstelme.net

There will be a club ride to the Red Onion Restaurant on Saturday July 31st.   We will be leaving from the Park’ n Ride above Pines Market at 9:30 am.  We will also have a club ride to Tim Pond for lunch on Saturday August 14th. I will need a final head count for that ride a week before.

It was great weather and a good day for Family Fun Days. We sold Strawberry Shortcakes and water until we ran out of them and made $232. Thanks to everyone who donated stuff and helped us out. Mike and Cassandra Smith drove the club’s ATV in the parade.

We have renewed our insurance policy with ATV of Maine. They are providing our liability insurance that we need for the equipment to be on the trail as well.

Trail Master’s Report: Dale Dunlap, breezy1@tdstelme.net

Fred picked up the rental excavator on July 6th and we have been working on the new bypass trail behind Flagstaff General. Hauled in gravel and spreading it along with ditching, water bars and will be finishing it off with shale like material on the hill to keep it from getting spun up. Other projects we will be doing are the trail at Sawyer Brook that runs parrael to Tim Pond Road. We will be widening that some along with getting rid of rocks and water. Maintenance on the rest of our trail system will also be taken care of in the next month. Please watch for working on trail signs and most important if you come up to the guys working on the trails please make sure they acknowledge that they know you are there and motion you to continue.

The 50/50 was won by Bruce Marcoux. The door prize was won by Dianne Wyman.             .

Our next meeting is Sunday, August 8th, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Stratton Community Building.
