The Tim Pond luncheon ride was a great success. The ride was beautiful, 26 quads with 32 members left the parking lot in Eustis at 9:30a.m. and arrived exactly at noon. Another 4 members drove in by truck. We will definitely do this again next year. If anyone would have thoughts on another option we will gladly take suggestions. We have discussed the possibility of a loop ride and picnic at Cathedral Pines campground with a short ride to the beach area by truck. There are members with children and grandchildren that feel it would be a great opportunity for the entire family.
The club voted to support FABA and join again for another year.
Dick and Bob traveled to Farmington to pick up the mini excavator on Monday, October 6th. It was a joyful trip.
A discussion was held on whether to keep the "Trail Account" open. A motion was made and seconded to not only keep it open but to put another $300 back into it. It makes it more convenient when Dick needs fuel or gravel.
We do have insurance coverage through ATV Maine for all trail workers and riders.
Several members including Don, Dick, Bob, Pete, Ray and Phil will be attending the ATV Maine meeting being held in Temple, Maine on Saturday, October 18th starting at 9a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

We had a good month with 19 new members, two of them being businesses. This brings our total of paid members to 283! We cannot tell you how much we appreciate the support of our members. Your support allows us to continue our work in expanding and improving our trails. The work this season will continue until the ground freezes.
Dick Smith, Trail Master's Report

Oct. 4th The club ride was a 56-mile round trip, 3 riders went the long way back for a total of 78 miles. The weather was cloudy and cool but the food was excellent. We had and impromptu meeting and voted to buy a mini excavator. All present were in agreement, it would be a good move. There were many donations to bring our monies up to the amount needed to pay for it without touching the grant money. We thank you for you generosity.
