Flagstaff Area ATV Club Minutes – October 9, 2022

9 members were present. The meeting was brought to order at 10:00 a.m. by President Edie Dunlap with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Presidents Report:  Edie Dunlap, breezy1@tdstelme.net

We had a nice ride to Kennebago Lookout for a cookout, little cool and windy but at least no rain. We had 21 people for the ride. We discussed at lunch about having our fall cookout next year at Natanis Campground. The weather is always unpredictable with being cool, windy or rainy and if we had the cookout up there in his activity building it would not matter what the weather was and people could drive to it and still enjoy some beautiful fall scenery up there. Lee Morin talked to Bob and he would love to have everyone come up. We would still do all the food and bring what we need to cook with. We will talk more about it next year.

We have received our second check from the state for our grant. We are waiting for bills to come in for grading from both Wagner and GCA who is doing grading for AFM. We expect their total bill will be close to $20,000.

The last 2 years we have given a donation to Quill Hill to help with grading and calcium, it was voted to give Quill Hill $1,000 towards grading and calcium.

The small metal tags for Business Plaques came in from ATV Maine and they have been either handed out or mailed out by Dianne.

This month was election of officers. All the officers offered to stay in their position unless there was someone else that wanted to take over. No one volunteered and the members cast one vote to keep all the officers the same for next year. President – Edie Dunlap, Vice President – Sandi Isgro, Treasurer – Gloria Smith, Secretary – Dianne Wyman. Dale Dunlap will stay on as Trail Master and Fred Smith will stay on as Assistant Trail Master. Bruce Marcoux was voted in for a 3 year term on the Board of Directors.

Vice President: Sandi Isgro, sandi.whitewolf@gmail.com

There is nothing new to report, hoping next year they will make progress on connections to other towns.
