We will be leaving from the new Eustis Park n Ride at 9:00 am for our ride next Saturday, July 15th, to the Red Onion Restaurant in Rangeley. We will be ordering off the menu like last year so everyone will be responsible for their own tab. It was voted on for the club to give the kitchen a tip for their services. The dates for our other club rides are – Saturday August 19 to Tim Pond and Saturday September 30th for a cookout at Natanis Campground. We will be having Chicken Stew with biscuits at Tim Pond and Hamburgers/Hotdogs at Natanis.
Dale and Edie attended a second meeting about Franklin County having a National Wildlife Refuge in this area. They are still taking input and comments from people for and against the project. The meeting we attended was people who were mostly opposed to it and there is one more planned for Monday night, July 10th, for anyone wanting to attend. We were told that all the info they gather for and against the project would be given to a committee and they will make their recommendation to one person and that person will have the say of if the project moves forward or not. There will be no public vote.

Our new Park n Ride on Caldwell Road in Eustis is open. There is a portable toilet there for riders to use as well. We have had a few people use it so that is good.
Fred and Dale have been working doing general maintenance on all the trails and hopefully will be pretty much done by the first of August.
Fred picked up a skid steer Friday for 3 weeks rental. Some areas are too wet and muddy to use a backhoe to haul the dump trailer. The last week we plan to get a trimmer for the skid steer to trim on Tim Pass and across the Indian Land.
Still working on the new trail to Natanis. Have found the Deleware Gap trail so in the process of hiking that to make sure it will be good for atv traffic.
Heather Babineau won the door prize and Karen Murphy won the 50/50 which she donated back to the club. Thank you Karen
