President's Notes
The meeting was called to order at 10:10am. There were 8 people present. The ATV Maine President (Richard Barter) will be visiting clubs. We are going to send him an invitation to attend one of our meetings. The question came up of where to hold our winter meetings. This would include January, February and March. It was voted unanimously to meet at the White Wolf each month at 10:00am the second Sunday each month, as usual. In April we will resume meeting at the Community Center.
ALL TRAILS ARE CLOSED AS OF NOVEMBER 30TH, 2006.
Vice President's Notes
The club voted to advertise in the Black Fly Loop Map for another two years.
Treasurer's Notes
We are in good financial shape. The members present accepted the report.
Trail Master's Notes
On October 9th Randall and Dick put culverts in and fixed drainage problems on the dump road. October 13th Don and Dick took up 2/3rds of the boardwalk opposite Bugeye to make it easier for the snowmobile groomer. We went to the Snowmobile meeting to inform them of what we have done and they said it wasn't necessary and they had no problem with it last year. We also checked Bag Mountain and it was fine. October 21st Dick and Tom Boyd cut open Split Rock, the Pines and the new connector trails of wind blow downs. October 26th Dick met with Dick Scott about trail opening and closing dates as there seems to be a discrepancy as when to close them. SFT is going to work on a satisfactory date. Dick cleared Antler Hill Road of downed trees. Dick wrote a newsletter for ATV Maine.
New Business
Any memberships that come in now will be members in 2007. Membership now stands at 297. A motion was made and passed to give Dick Smith $300.00 for fuel and parts for his ATV to cover the last few years. A motion was also made and passed to give Dick $65.00 for a new tire for the trailer.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:00am.
