Meeting brought to order at 10AM with the Pledge of Allegiance

1.) Presidents Report: Don Plante
This is our last meeting for this year. Election of officers was conducted and all were
re-elected for the coming year. Peter Manter was elected for another
three year term as Member of the Board of Directors.
President notes:
Landowners and members picnic was a great success again
this year. Special thanks to all that made this event possible.
I want to thank all the volunteers that put in time on
working on repairs of our trails. Lots was accomplished and still more
has to be done come this Spring.
Thank You Peter and Nancy for the great job with our web site.
As is shown on our site there’s gas in Stratton. Welcome
Stratton Fuel. Hours are listed on our web site.
Our trails are open till groomable snow. We do have two
areas closed which are Penobscot Nation land and the trail to Natanis.
Our next meeting will be March 11th 2012 at ten am
Community Bldg. in Stratton. The list of all our meetings will be
posted prior to the start of our season next year.
Snowmobile riders please join a club because this is
what helps keep the sport in good standing with landowners.

- Sept 10th We had the landowners Picnic. It was a great success, the food was delicious with 60 people present including 8 landowners and their spouses
- Sept. 11th I toook the excavator out to Big Sag Rd on the Tim Pass Loop and buried 3 culverts and filled a big washout
- Sept 13th I went to the Flagstaff Rd and drained the waterholes and pulled rocks
- Sept 14th I took the excavator to the Eustis Trail and fixed the bridge undermining, put in waterbars, drained waterholes and pulled rocks
- Sept 15th I took the excavator to the Eustis Pines Trail and filled water holes and graded trails where needed
- Sept 16th Pete, Ray, Lee, Don and I worked on the Pines boardwalk, we did 3 sections. I then took the excavator to the Eustis Trail and drained waterholes and put in waterbars
- Sept 17th & 22nd I took the quad, trailer and excavator to the Eustis trail and put in waterbars. Pulled rocks and drained waterholes
- Sept 23rd I took the excavator to the Stratton trail between RT 16 and the snomobile bridge. I graded the approaches, blocked off stream access and pulled numerous big rocks, drained the waterholes and put in waterbars. I then went to the Boralax pole line and graded, drained waterholes and pulled rocks. I did about 1/2 of it
- Sept 24th I went signing to the Natanis Trail and Antler Hill
- Sept 25th I went to put back in place 2 sign posts at the beginning and end of Antler Hill Loop. I then went and put up no dirt bike signs Eustis to Nash Stream and Split Rock. This is because AFM has posted their rules at the beginning of all thier roads
- Sept 26th I wnt to the Bugeye Boardwalk and replaced 2 broken Cribbings. I then went to the top of the hill, put some logs in between the rocks. I then took the excavator to the boneyard and filled the ruts in one waterhole
- Sept 27th I again took the excavator to the boneyard and finished filling the ruts and washouts
- Sept 28th I took the excavator to the Brochu Bridge Trail and pulled rocks. drained waterholes and put in waterbars
- Sept 30th & Oct 1st I went back to the Brochu Bridge Trail and the dump side and drained waterholes, back filled a culvert, pulled rocks and made waterbars
- Oct 2nd I took the excavator to the Stratton powerline, pulled rocks, drained water and put in waterbars

ALDER STREAM TRAIL IS NOW OPEN
BUTLER BROOK TRAIL IS CLOSED
The Butler Brook trail will be closed due to logging for approximately
the next 2 weeks. We will post it when we can reopen it. Thank you for
your cooperation.
